This week, my writing was lighter than I would normally do. I have been spending a lot of time playing catch-up with my regular work. I did some more work on my web series script, though. The working title for it is The Cactus Garden. I may work that into the story, if I do,… Continue reading Weekly Update

Weekly Update
Time for another update. I have added a couple more chapters to my Urban Fantasy book 2.
Back Home
This past month I have been super busy with a film I am working on. Last week I was on set, so I couldn't focus too much on my writing. But I am back home for about 6 weeks before I head out again for continued filming. I've posted a few behind-the-scenes pics on my… Continue reading Back Home
Update on Writing
Hey everyone, I hope things have been going well. I thought I would give an update on where I am at with writing and where I plan on going with them this year.
Updates
It has been awhile since, I have updated. So thought I would let everyone know what's been going on. First, I am happy to report that Breaking Bones has a tentative release date. It will be in 2023. But I don't want to announce the exact date until we are closer to it being ready.… Continue reading Updates
Rift Cycle – Halo Scot
future. The world is broken, the last of humanity has been forced to live in Antarctica, the only livable habit remaining on earth. But due to a series of events before the story, the axis of the earth has changed and now Antarctica is mostly a desert wasteland. These same events also caused a rift to appear that tore open a portal between planes of existence. This led to humans receiving powers based on the season they were born. This also led to ancient Gods coming to Earth to force worship and eventually, through the course of the story, war.
Matriarch – Book Review
Matriarch is a story by Adam Wing about an elder woman preparing to die. She is quite old and the whole family has shown up at the hospital. Though most of them are there to see what they will inherit. But she only wants to see her great-granddaughter. In the hours before her passing, she tells the story of how she came to be married to her husband. Slowly revealing hidden secrets that the family never knew about, until now.
Travelers – Book Review
Travelers is the first book of the Travelers Series by Al Hess. This is the second series by him that I have read. The first being the Hepcats of Boise. This story is more post-apocalyptic than the dystopian Hepcats stories were. Though it is the first book of the series, there was a prequel story that was released later titled Toskaheart, that I had read first. It was listed as Book 0 of the series.
Elf Child – Book Review
Elf Child is a story by David M. Pierce that came out in 2003. I mention the year, as this is a book I have previously read. I bought this book about a year after it came out from an LGBTQ book store in San Diego. I remember reading it and falling in love with it. It was always so refreshing to read fantasy-type stories with an LGBTQ protagonist.
The Problem with Mistletoe – Book Review
The Problem with Mistletoe is a Christmas themed book part of the Five Point series by Kyle Baxter. Each story stands independent of each other and shares a common thread with the series name.
