future. The world is broken, the last of humanity has been forced to live in Antarctica, the only livable habit remaining on earth. But due to a series of events before the story, the axis of the earth has changed and now Antarctica is mostly a desert wasteland. These same events also caused a rift to appear that tore open a portal between planes of existence. This led to humans receiving powers based on the season they were born. This also led to ancient Gods coming to Earth to force worship and eventually, through the course of the story, war.

Travelers – Book Review
Travelers is the first book of the Travelers Series by Al Hess. This is the second series by him that I have read. The first being the Hepcats of Boise. This story is more post-apocalyptic than the dystopian Hepcats stories were. Though it is the first book of the series, there was a prequel story that was released later titled Toskaheart, that I had read first. It was listed as Book 0 of the series.
Elf Child – Book Review
Elf Child is a story by David M. Pierce that came out in 2003. I mention the year, as this is a book I have previously read. I bought this book about a year after it came out from an LGBTQ book store in San Diego. I remember reading it and falling in love with it. It was always so refreshing to read fantasy-type stories with an LGBTQ protagonist.

St. Nacho’s – Book Review
St. Nacho’s by Z.A. Maxfield is a story of redemption and accepting one’s past. I acquired this book some time ago and recently had been able to sit down and enjoy it. I went in with a “why not” attitude. I thought it would be a basic romance with some recovery aspects. But I was pleasantly surprised to find it was a far deeper and emotional story. There were moments where I felt my heart wrench worried about what was going to happen to Cooper Wyatt, the main character.
Maurice – Book Review
from his childhood to college, and finally adulthood. This book is unique as it was published after the author’s death. When he wrote this tale, he didn’t think it would be well received by the public considering its content.

Tangled Up In Blue – Book Review
“Tangled Up In Blue” is a book by Marion Castella. It is quite the emotional rollercoaster of a story. It starts simple enough but quickly changes as the threads of the story begin to unfold and secrets are revealed. It twists into a larger conspiracy that leaves the reader worried that the two main characters may not be able to find a way to make it work out.
