Weekly Update

I should title this monthly update since it’s been a while since the last one. But that is because I have been super busy doing edits on Breaking Bones. I have finished a massive rewrite of the story and reorganizing some chapters. A few subplots were removed and I adjusted some of the POVs to the story. The cut parts are not gone forever, they will be making an appearance in future books. I am just not say which books yet!

For now, I am going to reread the story and make sure it flows how I want with the changes and go through and do another edit round. Hopefully, after that, I will be sending the updated draft to my editor.

Outside of that, I am prepping for the upcoming NaNoWriMo. I have a few stories I am bouncing between doing for it. There is my pirate story, which I plotted and did a rough few chapters of,. There is my fantasy series that was partially plotted and written I may dive back into. Or a rough draft for the third book in my urban fantasy series.

The reason none of the urban fantasy series have been released yet was I wanted to have the first three books written in at least rough draft form before I started to finalize the first book. We shall see what the mood takes me. Until I look it down, I will be updating my plots and storyboarding all three until I see which one I feel is ready to go for a rough draft. Ideally, I will write that while my editor is going through Breaking Bones.
