First, yes, I survived the Hurricane. It wasn’t too bad where I was. It rained all day, but the afternoon was when it hit hard. My roommate and I spent the evening watching Locke & Key while listening to the drops hit the ground.
But that was merely the end of my week. I have been working hard to get through this first round of edits, and I have. I had massive notes I have made of changes and adjustments I want to make to the story. So, I will be starting that this week. My goal is to complete this next round by the end of September.
Over the weekend, before the hurricane hit, I got to attend the Queer Mercado that happened in East Los Angeles. It was my first time attending it, and let me tell you, it was amazing. I highly recommend checking it out. They host it every 3rd Saturday of the month. You can follow them on Instagram to get the latest information on vendors and live performances they will be having.
