It has been a busy week for me. I have been making headway with Breaking Bones edits. A few of the characters I am going to rewrite a bit to make the story work better. But also, it is still way longer than I had originally intended, so I working on picking out subplots that can be removed and maybe appear in the third book instead.
With my book cover work, I have finally completed 12 designs that I am happy with to list for sale. They need a little touch-up and cleaning up. But that will not take long for each one. I had a place I was going to list them, but as I was creating a profile on that site, I started to realize that I do not think it is a good fit. But once they are up and available, I will announce it here, and there will be a page dedicated to them with links for them.
Finally, I have already rewatched Heartstopper Season 2 multiple times, because of course I have. I had read the comics so I knew what was coming. I am curious everyone’s impressions so far. I cannot wait to read Volume 5 which releases later this year.
I still have Breaking Bones scheduled to come out this year. But as it is already August, I am thinking I may have to push it back. I do not want it to be a rush a job just to meet a 2023 deadline. But I will no better after sending an updated draft to my editor.
